This was Pat’s “I’m underwhelmed” face at the arrival of the/my much anticipated assiette de charcuterie in Ajaccio, Corsica, where they feed the pigs chestnuts to flavor the prisuttu (prosciutto), salamu (salami), and figatellu (liver sausage…yup).

20 minutes and an empty plate later: “Yea, I take that back.”

Accompanied by biere Pietra, Corsican chestnut beer.

Beer and meat a la Corse, voila.
